The four score cards
At the top of your report, you will see four scores, each on a 0–100 scale: Technical Score Your overall site health across all 14+ audit checks. This is the primary number to track over time. A higher technical score means fewer crawlability issues, stronger structural signals, and a better foundation for ranking. Performance Derived from Google PageSpeed Insights data, this score reflects how fast your page loads on mobile and desktop. Performance issues — slow LCP, poor CLS, high TBT — can directly suppress rankings even if your on-page SEO is strong. E-E-A-T Your Expertise, Experience, Authority, and Trust score. This measures how well your site demonstrates credibility to both search engines and AI systems. For a full explanation of how this score is calculated, see E-E-A-T Scoring. SEO Score A focused measure of your on-page and structural SEO quality, including title tags, meta descriptions, H1 usage, schema markup, and internal linking. This score reflects the signals search engines use most directly when evaluating individual pages.Check status explained
Every check in the detailed breakdown returns one of three statuses:- Passed (green) — The check found no issues. No action is required.
- Warning (yellow) — The check found something that could be improved. Warnings indicate suboptimal configurations or missing best practices that may limit your performance without actively harming it.
- Failed (red) — The check found a significant issue that needs to be addressed. Failed items have a direct negative impact on crawlability, user experience, rankings, or trust.
AI fix guidance
Every failed or warning check includes AI-generated remediation steps directly below the status indicator. You do not need to interpret raw errors or look up external documentation — Linkstonic explains what went wrong in plain language and provides specific, actionable steps to resolve it. To access the fix guidance:- Click on any failed or warning check in your report.
- The check expands to show the detailed findings — for example, which specific links returned 404 errors or which security headers are missing.
- Below the findings, the AI guidance section lists the recommended steps to resolve the issue, in order of priority.

Common next steps after an audit
After reviewing your report, a typical workflow looks like this:- Review all Failed items. Make a list of every check that returned a red status. These are your highest-priority fixes.
- Read the AI fix guidance for each failure. Note the specific steps required and whether they require developer access, content changes, or configuration updates.
- Delegate or implement fixes. Assign technical fixes (security headers, redirect chains, sitemap errors) to your development team. Content and on-page fixes (missing alt text, duplicate titles, thin author bios) can often be handled directly.
- Re-run the audit after making changes. Linkstonic re-checks everything from scratch on each audit, so you will see your scores update as soon as fixes are in place.
- Review Warning items. Once Failed items are resolved, work through your warnings to further improve your scores.
- Monitor trends over time. Use historical comparison to confirm improvements are holding and to catch regressions early.
