Alert triggers
Each alert you create is based on a trigger type. Choose one or more triggers per alert rule.- Mention change — Your brand appears in or disappears from AI-generated answers for a tracked keyword. Use this to catch any presence shift, positive or negative.
- Position improvement — Your brand moves up in the AI answer position bands for a keyword. Use this to track momentum and validate optimization efforts.
- New AI platform mention — Your brand appears on an AI platform it wasn’t previously mentioned on (for example, appearing on Perplexity for the first time). Use this to track expanding reach across AI search tools.
- Mention increase — The number of times your brand is mentioned for a keyword rises significantly within a tracking period. Use this to spot breakout moments in AI visibility.
Delivery channels
Alerts are delivered via email or Discord webhooks, depending on your plan.- Email — Alerts are sent to the email addresses you configure. Available on all plans.
- Discord — Alerts fire directly into a Discord channel via webhook URL. See Discord Alert Webhooks for setup instructions. Available on Pro and Agency plans.
How to set up an alert
Go to Alerts in your dashboard
In the Linkstonic sidebar, click Alerts to open the alert management screen.
Choose trigger type(s)
Select one or more triggers for this alert rule: mention change, position improvement, new AI platform mention, or mention increase.
Select keywords and brands to monitor
Choose which tracked keywords and brands this alert applies to. You can configure multi-keyword and multi-brand rules in a single alert.
Add a delivery channel
Enter your email address or paste a Discord webhook URL. You can add multiple recipients or webhook URLs per alert rule.
Combined batched alerts (Agency)
On the Agency plan, you can enable combined batched alerts. Instead of receiving a separate notification for every trigger that fires, Linkstonic merges multiple alert events into a single digest message delivered at a scheduled interval. This is useful when you are monitoring many keywords or brands at once. Batching keeps your inbox or Discord channel clean while still ensuring you see every event — consolidated into one actionable summary rather than a flood of individual pings.Plan availability
